Jason's new job!!!

For those that haven't heard of our good news Jason got a new job in Boise. He will be working in an Orthopedic Surgery Center. The experience and opportunity are without out saying fantastic! We have truly been blessed and are so grateful. So he put in his notice last Monday to work and for our rental. We have to stay in our rental until they can find new renters to take our place. We have the whole house all cleaned and ready to be shown so we are praying really really hard that we'll be able to hear some great news this week. If they rent to a military family we will only have 10 days to be out so we are trying to be as packed up as possible. We want to move ASAP so really it shouldn't be a problem unless you count that we can't sign on anything else until we get that 10 day notice and the fact that I am now 4wks to my due date! Our hope was to be all moved before the baby so we could have her at a hospital in Boise, but who knows? I'm trying to stay focused on the positive aspects and trying to shrug off the things I have no control over but at times that is rough! I can honestly say that I have never wanted to push my due date back so bad before. Hopefully my next post will be filled with exciting news and maybe I'll even have pics of our new ,to us, house to post!

New Years Photos

We had such a fun New Years! We played games had pizza then around 9pm we were starting to get bored so we decided to go to a park by our house and go sledding! We had about 7 inches of snow and it was still coming down. We all took turns and Jason decided that making a bump to fly over would definitely increase the fun so a big bump was constructed. Even Addalyn had a great time going down and playing this time. I did go down twice but I didn't have any snow pants and those sleds were cold! We had the park all to ourselves and it truly was so much fun, I'm so glad we'll all have that memory.

Christmas Eve!

It's hard to not reflect on all the past Christmas Eve's I have had in my life. This year will be different. I have never not been with my parents. Brooklyn told me today that her favorite part about Christmas was being with family and that she was sad that this year we were all broken apart. I suppose I'm not the only one affected. Regardless the kids are beside themselves with excitement! I'm so glad everything is ready to go so Jason and I can enjoy a relaxing evening together. Poor guy is going to need it after working graveyard the last two nights.
On Tuesday we got about 4in of snow and took the kids sledding, they had a blast! I had fun watching with Addalyn from inside the car! Addalyn does not like to be cold and I graciously volunteered to keep her in the the car. Unfortunately it warmed up later and the majority of it melted away which is really a shame since the rest of the week it's been and will be freezing and clear. It would've been so nice to have a white Christmas. I also didn't get a chance to post about my sweet little girl turning two last week. We decorated gingerbread house and although next year we'll make actual gingerbread, the kids still had fun. So after the festivities of tomorrow and next week it will be time to really start getting ready for our next baby girl to be here. It's been hard to really focus on that until the holidays are past us. Although the huge bulge I'm carrying around as well as the lack of flexibility make it pretty hard to ignore! So Merry Christmas to anyone that is out there still reading blogs!

Let it Snow?

Below is the forcast for the next 5 days. It should be really interesting to see how much so my town actually gets. So far we've only had some dustings. On Friday we went and got our Christmas tree and finally decorated the house for Christmas. We then went and watched our town's Christmas parade. It was actually pretty good but the fact that it was 23 degrees before the windchill should tell you we were FREEZING! We couldn't make it to the tree lighting or visit with Santa, even the lure of free hot chocolate couldn't entice us. As soon as the parade ended we ran to the car cranked up the heat and drove the 4 blocks home. Jason worked the weekend so the kids and I spent a lot of time cleaning. He also starts graveyard tomorrow, ughh, but at least he is only working 3 days a week and it will only be for this month.

Christmas craft ideas!

So I feel really motivated this year to make presents, might be nesting! Anyway here are some great websites that I've been looking at. http://andreascrafts.com/newitems.html I might be partial to that one for the name and all!Another great idea is the vellum proclamation look at it here http://www.sugardoodle.net/Family/Family%20Proclamation%20Picture.shtml
I also have some ideas for kids. For my girls I am going to make necklace holders, I had one when I was little, here are the directions http://crafts.kaboose.com/necklace-hanger.html
and then there are the LDS Quiet books. I did an apostle one at Super Saturday but here are some other ideas for some http://www.sugardoodle.net/Home_Family_and_Personal_Enrichment/Some%20Quiet%20Book%20Ideas.shtml
and here is an ABC one that is pretty cute http://www.enrichmentcottage.com/crafts/abc_quiet_book.htm
Hope everyone enjoys these ideas as much as I did!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Sunday is my Mom's birthday. It is only the second one in my life that I've missed. My mom is the best. IF you know her you will agree that she is the most selfless loving person. So Happy Birthday Mom I love and appreciate all that you have done and do for me and all of our family.

A MOTHER'S LOVE
There are times when only a Mother's love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappoints
And calm all of our fears.
There are times when only a Mother's love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we've dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.
There are times when only a Mother's faith
Can help us on life's way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.
For a Mother's heart and a Mother's faith
And a Mother's steadfast love
Were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.
